My book is steadily progressing to final release in December 2026/January 2027. As we near this momentous occasion, we are announcing a pre-order opportunity. During this time, you can reserve a copy not just not for yourself but also for a friend or for a donation to your selected local library.
When I was as 60, I suddenly lost my corporate job. I had worked in corporate environments for decades, and yet I had no idea what to do next. I needed help. Without any available, I wrote the guidance myself. Now this guidance will soon be available to everyone.
My book helps mature professional women learn how to manage their careers as they age. It discusses early warning sign, challenging situations, coded language, legal definitions and steps women can take within and outside their companies to identify, prevent, and take action around ageism and age discrimination in the workplace. It also helps women protect themselves whether they’re in their 40s or 70s. I also provide guidance to Hunan Resources departments and leadership to tap the innate wisdom and special superpowers of older women in the workplace. I interviewed numerous women, HR teams and anti-discrimination lawyers to identify the latest and best advice.
You’re Always 39 is more the a book. It’s a call to employers, policymakers and women to bring this conversation forward. Together, we can prevent unnecessary talent drain and keep qualified, talented employees in the workforce until they choose to step away.
As part of this book’s early announcement, you not only can reserve copies for a friend and your local library. You can attend the launch event, join a private social group or take the lead in working with employers.
I know this information is needed: I spoke to hundreds of women who shared heartbreaking stories of job loss just when they were ready to step more fully into their careers. Age should not end a career just as youth should not limit opportunities.
Companies who would like to lead in this area are also invited to pre-order copies of the book and even set up workshops to train employees on how to better utilize aging workers. For example, contrary to stereotypes, mature workers do embrace AI and can identify numerous ways to simplify work flows and supply chains by employing this technology. The conversation is not people versus AI. Rather, it’s about talent and the knowledge and judgment to use a tool to reinvent today’s workforce.
Soon, I will be launching a new, private LinkedIn Group to continue this conversation.
I look forward to rebuilding a stronger workforce with you.
Thank you for your support.
