A Surviving Facts Blog

As predicted, I received, almost immediately after publishing, a white, male response to my second blog on racism. Here’s Andy, representing white males everywhere. White males clearly need a champion.
There’s so much wrong about his response that dissecting it isn’t worth my time. What is worth discussing, however, is the mindset that drives these men to respond. I’ve concluded that they carry these beliefs:
- I am a victim. The white males who feel the need to respond usually see themselves as a victim of modern society. They believe the woman’s and civil rights movements displaced them from their social rank. To some extent, this is true. More women are in the workforce than ever before in history, though both 2020 and 2024 saw declines for the first time in decades. Likewise, greater numbers of people of color have entered the American workspace. These increased numbers mean that white males compete in the workforce with people unlike themselves. Previously, the white male only competed with another white male. For some reason, this was easier for white men to digest, probably due to the cultural sportsmanship of “the best man wins.” Because these white men do not see women or minorities as equals, they now see the competition as unequal. If a woman or person of color succeeds instead, the white male becomes a victim of the movements that helped them enter the workforce rather than their own capabilities.
- I am the top of the human chain. White men who feel victimized by the movements listed above inherently believe that white men are superior to women and minorities. This belief seems to have remained in the South post the abolition of slavery, though it exists elsewhere too. The slave allowed white men to create a privileged hierarchy with their seat at the top. As such, white men saw themselves as stewards of women and minorities. Their responsibility to guide and represent us was the perceived right social order, much like England’s royal family. White men designed and promoted a society with them at the top. Equality allowed others to rise to the same level. The “victimized” white male has never been ready to cede their place at society’s helm.
- Since I cannot rise to the top with my like brethren only, I cannot rise at all. With women and minorities now standing on the podium, the white man did not feel competition. Instead, he experienced exile. Exile was a profound form of punishment in early Anglo-Saxon society. Exile took men away from their comrades and isolated them socially, financially and even familially. This was a deeply symbolic place: because of communal living during this era, isolation could result in death. I assert that this association and fear have not gone away. Rather, they have been redirected to our current times. White men, at the top of the chain, are now denied social standing when they have to compete with others “not like me.” This leads these white men to completely abandon the game, a trend we see with fewer white men going to college, seeking professional degrees and entering the white collar workforce.
- I deserve special treatment to equalize society. After abandoning the game, these white men now believe they need the same enabling actions that women and minorities received. Rather than accept equal social footing, these white men now see themselves as harmed and disadvantaged. They believe they have been denied their place at the top to make space for someone not as deserving. Therefore, to rebalance society, white men now need special support. Of course, this position assumes that white men have actually lost their standing. However, although women and minorities have progressed, they have never achieved actual parity with white men. White men still sit in the most board seats, still hold the most C-suite and management positions, and still are more likely to be hired— based purely on facts. In addition, they still earn more than women and minorities. These facts do not penetrate their sense of social loss or exile. Nor do they take accountability for not stepping up to the new competition. Currently, without DEI requirements at universities, fewer white men are getting accepted to college, a fact, with supporting data, I shared in a previous blog. Women and minorities are earning higher grades and receiving more acceptances, tumbling the misguided belief that these groups had to be “given” the status they actually earned. Real competition has led to white men underperforming rather than rising.
- My anger and hatred are righteous. This belief has religious undertones. Now misplaced by their own weakening performance, white men like these are on a crusade to re-establish their place. This is why we hear statements such as “your body is my body” toward women and claims of white male discrimination now promoted by the EEOC. Under the current administration, white men have a champion for their crusade, making this belief even more dangerous. The fervor this belief drives is one of the greatest risks to democracy and an equitable society we have.
These beliefs underpin the response I get from these particular white men. It’s not ALL white men— I know plenty who do not follow these beliefs, my husband being one. Of course, I could be completely wrong. They could simply think, as a recent Max wrote to me: “yawn.”
I would love to hear from you, even if, especially if, you disagree. Perhaps we can bring back the American tradition of debate. Please like and share this blog with others. Yep…it’s me again, you know, Andy the misogynistic racist who promoted this unnecessarily long winded rant in the name of fair and reasonable debate “even if, especially if we disagree!”
1. “I am a victim”
Isn’t it odd how black people, especially highly strung women like this, do like to put men down. Through a lens of peddled woke indoctrinated entitlement, they reframe it as a defence against so called “white privilege” or the “patriarchy” denying them an owed, not earned place in the social structures that have evolved in many ways to the detriment of high standards. America, as with Britain was and is a predominantly “white” cultural country. That in and of itself is a compelling argument alone for there being somewhat of an “inequality” throughout time if you regionalise the argument and fine tune the facts; no matter what the liberals and BLM’s say. By definition, ‘minorities” will always have a smaller share of cake because they are fewer in numbers…obviously, some might say! From everything that I know and see in diminishing standards and rising tensions, insults and put downs directed at white people by women and men like this are an inexplicable case for reiterating my previous point, about how DEI along with movements like Feminism and Transgenderism has altered the reality of what is real, and what to most logical people without chips on their shoulders refuse to see or acknowledge because of an over justified sense of indignant necessity to keep promoting the idea that their values, (if you can call them that) and perspectives are incontrovertible truths rather than an insidious hypocrisy. I always find it curious how some black people cannot tolerate any well reasoned political criticism but feel they know more about being white than white people do, especially when black females come out screaming and gaslighting white males for having a voice of their own. Spin that on its head and it’s sexism and racism rolled up in one whacky already smoked joint.
2 “I am the top of the human chain”
As a white British man I can confidently say that we are not top of the metaphorical chain. We live in a two tier society here in Britain under a radical left wing ideological government that seeks to vote black minority groups, especially Muslims, but that’s a whole other discussion, by pitting races and cultures against each other to subvert the rights of the host indigenous nation in a delusional attempt to further fracture our society and label “dissenting” voices and opinions as ‘far right’. To stretch the failed multiculturalism, globalist project that has destroyed Europe but also large parts of America, Canada and Australia out of all proportion, as does the article I’m responding to. Equality is an impossible reach for anyone who believes in individualism and a meritocracy to achieve the best results for all. The obvious confusion between equity and equality is akin to the “that was then, this is now”, mindset of half measures for twice the results. DEI has systematically proven to reduce quality standards because it does not produce equality of outcome. These are the real facts. Standards across ALL institutions have deteriorated bar none, and fallen into the suicidally empathic ideology of exploited and manipulated woke culture by blending gay rights, trans rights, BLM, Me Too and Islamophobia into a contorted, disjointed manifestation of La La land and the Magic Roundabout. This mishmash of flawed logic wrapped in a cocoon of victimisation has fatally carved a black abyss into education and institutions and rewired a low lit, shallow overview of history and the lessons that should be learnt from it. Two wrongs don’t make it right is too simplistic a way of putting it because who’s really to say what was right, wrong or indifferent one hundred, two hundred or fourteen hundred years ago. Everything happens for a reason and the reasoning isn’t always modern, just as badly aging new modernism isn’t always reasonable either. We now live in a marginalised hedonistic, surrender state that has enabled terrorism, crime, political violence, abuse, censorship and new waves of hypocrisy and racism from those who complain about the history of it the most. The attempted continuation of reverse psychology as a pretext to positive change is dead in the water. Cases like the murder of Henry Novak, the murder of three little girls by Axel Rudakabana and the nationwide Pakistani rape gang scandal are just a few of countless examples where warped equity has caused such inequality that nobody confined to the constraints of political correctness could reasonably argue with it. These may seem unrelated to your cause but two tier thinking has resulted in two tier justice and two parallel systems that are completely at odds with each other. So incompatible that the right to demand objective fairness has been stripped so far back to its white naked bones that the parasitic vengeance of so called equality is unrecognisable to an average white person who consumes this vitriol on a daily basis.
3 “Since I cannot rise to the top with my like brethren only, I cannot rise at all”
The podium is a soap box these days that most mainstream lenses have been pointing at. As a means to promote those given the unfair advantage of denigrating those of us who aren’t given the same airtime as those who are full of hot air (or p*ss and importance as we might say in the UK), through a narrative of the liberal leftist propaganda machine that isn’t interested in open debate…only the status quo. This has been a troubling player in the decline of freedom of speech and freedom of debate. The callous, cold blooded killing of Charlie Kirk jumps to mind or more recently the murder of former conservative, turned Reform representative, Ann Widdecombe are cases in point. The rising success of X and GB News in Britain have given voice to a wide range of experiential view points and opinions that were to date being subdued under the Biden administration and more recently in the UK under the Starmer (now Burnham) Labour government. Who were voted into office out of protest to remove the former conservative government by many who didn’t have the first idea of what it would mean for a country dealing with the invasion and cultural destruction of illegal mass migration. The same is true throughout Europe. Again, radical left wing suicidal empathy, selling out Britain and America to the total detriment and safety of trust based societies now being abused by floods of black and brown, young fighting age men, reeking havoc on the economy and are detrimental to the safety of women and young girls. Hotels full of indignant black/brown men who are primed to think of young women as trash, and meat for them to prey on, placed near schools and into communities that were once affluent and safe, but are now grey zones of uncertainty and fear. Tolerance is fading, reality is stark and resistance is growing, as is the civil unrest. Colleges and universities are given quotas on diversity hiring and the “need not apply” rule is applied to whites as a means of creating a second rate equilibrium. Case in point…George Abaraonye the Oxford Union president elect (who was enrolled into the prestigious university with only B grades) then outwardly celebrated the killing of Charlie Kirk online! Another manifestation of ideological racism promoted by a woke establishment that has lost all perspective.
“I deserve special treatment to equalise society”
Men in women’s sports are a cruel example of equality gone absolutely nuts! Imane Khalif (Google still refers to him as a falsely accused man) kicking the absolute crap out of genuine biologically female boxers in front of a worldwide audience was a huge low point in history and one that will forever cast a shadow of shame over the sporting body that allowed the disgraceful televisation of what amounted to nothing more than violence against women in the name of progress and equality…if this is an acceptance of equal social footing then the rules of engagement are not just fractured, they have splintered beyond anything that resembled safe spaces for women and girls. Men in women’s changing rooms and toilets exploited by Trans activists all in the sordid name of DEI. These are the real modern examples of inequality through a mishmash of unholy wholesomeness, wisdom and enlightenment that flies in the face of equality, when it once had meaning and wasn’t used as an extraneous point to seek an unfair advantage over others because they now find themselves with disproportionate protections in law. The point here is that white men or women cannot step up if they’ve already stepped down, or the steps have been removed by the maniacal woke mindset of the new institutional bias peddled by people with no interest in the parity of what they conveniently believe in. White people have been taught to be inclusive, some black people translate that as exclusivity to them and it has caused a simultaneous regression in demanded standards of equality, especially when you analyse the percentage difference in the numbers of cultural representation. It’s not black against white or male against female, unless you’re a black female trying to get a high out of belittling white men to further the cause of dwindling support for out of balance activists.
5 “my anger and hatred are righteous”
Well pot kettle black! I think I’ll finish by saying this…comparatively violence against white women in the UK is vastly over represented in “black/ethnic minority” men. It goes without saying, if you’re going to debate and you’re leaning on being black and female as your wielding stick against white men, I’d say that’s pretty sexist and racist and white guys don’t appreciate being labelled, blamed, racially abused and insulted to further the cause of a one eyed political argument. It doesn’t sit well with anybody anymore and only serves to repeatedly undermine your point. It seems to be a widely known fact that doesn’t get acknowledged by black people that racism against white people exists, on probably a wider scale than racism amongst blacks. The white genocide in South Africa is a large scale example of this. A recent story in the UK (one of many examples) of a young child of six or seven at a school being racially bullied. A group of black kids calling him “chicken skin”. After reporting it to a teacher he was told “you’re white, you can’t be racist to a white person!” He was the only white child in his class. Currently in the UK, Canada and America racist attacks against white people have risen exponentially and yet left wing liberals and black/“minority group” activists still try to dispel these growing statistics. The very idea that generation after generation of white people owe black people apologetic concessions and reparations demonstrates where the real modern day cultural antipathy is coming from and is undermining the already fragile social fabric of indigenous white nations and and will ultimately, if not imminently be the cause of a huge cultural backlash…..
Hello, Andy. Thank you, for taking so much time again to respond. I want to note one error you’re making. I am not Black. I said Hitler would consider me to be so. Btw, I went to school for a bit in the UK and am a bit of an Anglophile. HP sauce and Branston P are always in my fridge!
Hi Cheryl, thanks for pointing out my mistake and for your response. Sorry for the oversight. I always appreciate some good engagement, especially in a time when even opening a discussion can be a vehicle to so much backlash. I gotta be honest, you can’t beat brown sauce on a decent English breakfast and Branston in a thick cheese sandwich. Nice chatting to you. Have a lovely day x
UK. What chance of defence against Russia or Iran ,when we can’t stop INVASIONS in little rubber
boats ?
I don’t support what the U.S. is doing in Iran and am in no way surprised that Russia is supporting Iran. I’m a bit behind on writing these days. I have a book coming out at the end of the year— a guide for women and late career job loss— and have been deep in editing. I also am worn out by the state of the U.S. and our politics. I am hoping to move toward some other topics though admittedly, the political ones get the most attention…
