This morning I discovered a terrifying website. The Project 2025 tracker shows the progress on all of the initiatives in the 800-page document. If anyone has doubts that the Trump administration is executing Project 2025, this visually demonstrates that Trump has embraced the fascist nationalist agenda outlined in this far right manifesto.

Out of the 301 initiatives in Project 2025, just over one-third (105) have been executed. That’s 42% overall. Another 44 initiatives are in progress.

The site breaks down progress by agency and project objectives. Reading through the details is falling back in time. It demonstrates the far right’s agenda to erase all progress in civil rights. It whitewashes American history. It marginalizes women. It depicts the Big Lie of the far right: that a cultural war had distracted the US from its goals and harmed white men. We are now an authoritarian Christian white nationalist country.

Disagree? Here are a few updates for you:

1. USAID has been dismantled 100%. Toward this progress, all funding has been stopped except for funding for Samaritan’s Purse, an evangelical Christian group. Meanwhile, any funding for disasters and reproductive rights has been abruptly stopped.
2. The Department of State objectives are 89% completed. No more funding for the United Nations Human Rights Council. No more funding for the World Health Organization. No more employee recruitment or hiring.
3. The White House initiatives are getting ticked off the checklist too. It’s 88% done with removing the checks and balances our nation has thrived on for 249 years. Political appointees have authority to “personally review and authorize appropriated funding.” It cuts contracts for any organization that has what they deem a “woke agenda.” The Office of Personnel Management now gets to perform Gestapo-like investigations for security clearance. All agencies have been ordered to remove any language implying protections for women or LGBTQIA.
4. The US Agency for Global Media now must align with the president’s agenda. Only journalists who do so will be allowed. Isn’t this state-controlled media? Folks, that’s fascism.
5. The Department of Justice no longer can invest any efforts to prevent spreading misinformation and disinformation. The far right has made lying great again. The DOJ can no longer pursue any investigations unsupportive of the president’s agenda. It pushes the death penalty and encourages immigration investigations.
6. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is halfway to extinction. As a reminder, the CFPB focused on transparency and fairness of banks, lending institutions and credit card companies. Keeping Americans safe from predatory practices and fraud is no longer important.
7. As is well known by now, bye-bye to the Department of Education. Trump has incorrectly stated that US education quality has decreased since its founding. Objective, non-media sources show this to be false.
8. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention soon will fund studies on the risks and complications of abortions. It’s already promoting alternatives to contraceptives, such as the long disproved method called “family planning.”
9. The Department of Homeland Security is making progress on illegal search, seizure and deportation of immigrants. Notice I did not say “illegal immigrants.” Legal immigrants and naturalized US citizens have been deported already.
10. The Department of Agriculture gets to follow Trump’s belief that wildfires can be prevented by increased logging. Long live big business and the ruin of our national parks.

How can anyone agree with these initiatives? They support a Christian nationalist agenda. They deny racism and perpetuate the belief that white men are discriminated against, victims of a “woke” agenda. They deny climate change- who cares about the hole in our ozone layer? They remove progress in rights for any group that has been shown historically to have suffered discrimination. They have reinstated the closet for LGBTQIA. Federal contractors even, in Jim Crow fashion, can separate bathrooms for Blacks and whites.

I can’t go on.

Project 2025 erases science, facts and history.

How has DEI, the “woke” agenda, harmed white men? White men have most of the CEO roles for the Fortune 100 and 500. They hold most positions on corporate boards. They receive more job interviews and call backs on interviews. They dominate Congress. White men are disproportionately represented in white collar jobs. White men still earn more than women and “minorities” for the same job. Most medical research has been performed on white men, as if they represent all humans. White men get better medical treatment. They have control of their bodies- insurance even pays for the little blue pill. This barely covers their privilege. All of these statements are supported by research performed by reliable, nonpartisan groups.

I won’t, go on however. Facts don’t matter. What matters to the far right: white men win. Period. They are well on their way to achieving this.
